What if we stopped whispering about the off-season like it was something to survive—and started building something we could celebrate?
That’s the question we’re asking—and answering—at Pop-Up Street.
For decades, Cape Cod has existed in extremes. The rush of summer. The hush of winter. The mad dash to make enough in July to float through January. But what if we told you it doesn’t have to be this way?
What if our local economy could breathe, thrive, and flourish all year long?
We believe it can.
We believe that the artists, chefs, makers, and creatives who pour their passion into this place deserve more than a few short months of visibility. We believe that our elders, our families, and our young people deserve something to look forward to—something to gather around—even when the tourists have gone home.
We believe that just because the beach is quiet doesn’t mean the culture has to be.
Enter: The Pop-Up Street Movement
We’re not just planning events. We’re building a movement—a creative economy that works in every season.
This fall and winter, our Paint & Sip nights, Main Ingredient supper clubs, and Feast & Fashion series will continue to light up the calendar. These aren’t just cute gatherings. They’re real, intentional platforms where artists and chefs get paid to show up and shine.
From hosting candle-making workshops to selling original work at curated markets, our members are earning income—and the community is showing up with love, support, and curiosity.
Year-Round Culture, Real Opportunities
At Pop-Up Street, here’s what we’re doing to eliminate the seasonality myth:
Hosting monthly themed experiences (art nights, brunches, markets) in Sandwich and Hyannis, even through the cooler months.
Paying creatives to lead classes and workshops—not volunteer, not exposure—actual dollars.
Launching our Culture & Co. digital magazine to keep the creative scene buzzing, storytelling alive, and products visible year-round.
Creating vendor and membership opportunities with flexible options so that artists, chefs, and entrepreneurs can keep building their brands—even in February.
Partnering with off-Cape brands and tourism leaders to bring new energy and people to our events, helping shift the narrative of what Cape Cod looks like beyond summer.
